Been a loyal customer for 6 years now. Fantastic service from Diana the hygienist, dentists Annie Chou and Allen Le. Addressed multiple cavities without any issues. Had an unexpected rude experience with front desk person when I was leaving the office this evening after a cleaning appointment. The person was helping set up Zoom consultation appointment for Invisalign. I mentioned that I was on personal travel next couple of weeks and would prefer a time slot after I return. Instead of listening to my input, the front desk person kept pushing and insisting on appointment in the next few days (tomorrow/ September 10) asking personal questions like "Are you going out of the country?", "It would be good if you can take your laptop". I made it very clear I don't want a dentist appointment (this is not an emergency by any stretch of the imagination). Having second thoughts of continuing with this clinic if the front desk cannot respect my time and privacy as a customer.

My recent experience with Dr. Toy was nothing short of outstanding. She examined me with an impressive level of thoroughness and discovered something no other dentist had ever noticed: a foreign body, likely a metal wire, embedded in the bone underneath my gum. This must have been there since childhood, as I had no recollection of it. While it's likely harmless, it underscored her incredible attention to detail. Beyond this remarkable find, Dr. Toy expertly fixed multiple cavities and ensured that my bite was perfect. Her caring and warm demeanor made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. She has a knack for providing clear and reassuring explanations to my questions while respecting my time, starting and ending procedures as scheduled. What really stood out was her follow-up--she took the time to reach out to me after hours to make sure everything was going well. Dr. Toy is a true professional who blends technical expertise with a personal touch. If you need a dentist who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond, she is the one to see.

I’ve been a patient here for a long time and seeing Diana every 3 months for cleaning and examinations. All along data has been collected and suggestions made to help me improve my gum and tooth health. We have a good baseline to judge how changes in daily care affect my results. By implementing several of the recommendations from Diana, I am seeing 50% reduction in gum softness and plaque build up. We both recognize that changes in my routine directly resulted in changes in the metrics they collect to measure gums and the more qualitative conclusion of plaque build up. We couldn’t make these conclusions unless we had a solid baseline, and I implemented changes one at a time. Specific changes were: daily use of a water pik; switching to oral b circular motion electric toothbrush, and daily use of a 2 part mouthwash called oral care which costs 60 bucks but helped stop gum bleeding. Any way thanks to her I have a much better feeling about my long term teeth and gum health. Thank you Diana and perfect smile

I am one of Dr Pham's original patients, I have been seeing her since 2006/2007 when she opened her first office. I couldn't imagine a more kind and professional person. I am scared to death of the dentist since childhood and she put me right at ease. She stays up to date on technology and advancements in her space and her staff is top notch. Both my wife and I have had our cleaning done at Perfect Smile Dental Care and we both agreed that the process was exceptional... The front office side called/emailed before our visit, they had all our information when we showed up. We felt the welcoming spirit as soon as we entered the office. The crew that took our x-rays and pictures kept us informed on what they were doing, they helped us to relax. The process during the cleaning was stress free thanks to the dental assistants who worked on us (Tuan and Diana). They were warm, calming and made us feel relaxed. Going to the dentist carries it’s own stress but those two angels made our experience enjoyable... Dr. Le was very easy-going in his explanation of what we were looking at and what it would take to correct our teeth. It is easy for us to recommend Perfect Smile Dental Care to anyone looking for dental work. The place is very convenient. It has a huge parking lot and close to my home. Dental assistants(DA) and Dental hygienists are very professional. I like them all, very kind people. I think there is something wrong with the billing department.Either they do not know how to run the insurance codes or there is something else. I paid back too much money which I didn’t budget it at the first place. Please be more clear and transparent. Just run codes before I pay my part. Other than that, I recommend this place for everyone.

Dr. Toy was by far the best dentist I have ever had. Each visit she took the time to get to know me, then remembered things I had shared with her during my last visit and asked about it. I had a lot if work that needed to get done over the course of a few months and she always went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with each procedure by answering my 101 questions I asked before, during, and after. I typically do not like going to the dentist, but Dr. Toy made it into the best experience possible. She is kind, God-fearing, thoughtful, and reallyyyy good at her job. I had a cavity in a front facing filling that I have had for yearss. My first dentist didn't do a good job with it and its always bothered me. Dr. Toy redid it and it felt like a cosmetic procedure with how flawless she left my tooth; I felt like I had a brand new smile! She blended the color and texture perfectly. Thanks Dr. Toy for all you did for me. You are easily one of, if not the BEST, dentist in the Bay Area. Wishing you all the best!!

However, the missing 1-star is for their assistants… Both have been force me to speak Chinese and making awkwardness . The more uncomfortable ones is the assistant has been yawning (I can see it from her mask) three times during her assistant work for dr Le when he was working in the mid-afternoon…I think she needs a double expresso before onboarding to show her professionalism. Because going to the dentist is a must, let it be a good experience. Try Perfect Smile Dental Care in San Jose! I have.....hmmm....troublesome teeth, however, never fear walking in there. Not only are the front desk staff and assistants always pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and great with explaining things, the same goes for those who actually work on your teeth as well! Specifically, Dr. Allen Le and Dental Hygienist, Ms. Diana, never fail to ensure I understand and am satisfied with all aspects of my care (and they're gentle too!). Moreover, the facility even has monitors at each chair with access to Netflix for patients while services are being performed. HUGE perk for me for a few of reasons: #1: Multitasking. I don't have much free time in my profession so this "tv head" is afforded the opportunity to catch up on her binge watching while simultaneously receiving quality dental care. #2: I don't care how cool one is with going to the dentist, NO ONE wants to hear/focus on the sound of scraping, drills, etc while sitting in that chair. I repeat, NO ONE. #3: It's just super awkward staring at your dentist's forehead while he/she is fixing all the damage you've done with cake. Hope you try Perfect Smile Dental Care and love them as much as I do!

My journey with PSDC started in 2015 when I had a dental emergency and had no dental insurance, they saw me on a Saturday and gave me a low cost diagnosis and advised me what I needed to do. While I had to get the work done somewhere else, I told myself when the day came where I had dental insurance, that I would come back to this place. 4 years later the time had come. They are nothing short of wonderful, from teaching me proper dental hygiene, to working with me on my payments. Everyone is kind, and considerate. The place is always clean, they have monitors so you can watch your choice of streaming services while they work on you which makes the work go by fast. It is one of those things where I look forward to going every 3 months to get my teeth cleaned - which I am told is weird. But everyone there makes it worthwhile. Dental hygiene is important, but it can be scary, a warm and friendly atmosphere that they provide makes it all worth it.

I went in for my 4mo check-up and cleaning since I've previously had cavity and plaque issues. I already knew I'd be safe bc my sister was a priority patient and went in already, but my own experience proved my feeling right. A temperature check and hand sanitizer right at the door, plexiglass everywhere. Literally 1-2 humongous air purifiers in every "room." They have you swish hydrogen peroxide for 30sec before you sit down to get looked at. And! They point what I can only call a large air duct sized, quiet vaccum at your face to continuously suck up any wayward particles while being worked on.

I went in for my usual cleaning, but this was the first time since Covid-19 restrictions were in place. Perfect smile dental was closed to implement their safety precautions, and it really showed during my visit today. Beyond the usual sneeze guard and face shields, perfect smile went beyond by purchasing two machines that help sanitize the air and keep air/water particles contained. I also had to rinse and wash my hands prior to sitting and getting the cleaning. This is pretty new, and I felt safe before, during and after my cleaning. I would highly recommend getting your teeth cleaned here, and not to neglect them during quarantine. As for the cleaning, stellar as always. 👍 thanks again for opening back up!

I have had a few crowns done and fillings replaced in addition to regular cleanings, etc. Dr. Pham is gentle and thorough. I have confidence that she has my immediate and long-term dental health in mind at all times. She has high standards and I know that I can trust that she has carefully vetted all of the dentists and hygienists who work there. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful. I have been to the office since it re-opened after the Covid-19 mandated shutdown. I have always been confident that they maintained a top-notch clean and hygienic environment but was blown away by their investment in even more in state-of-the-art equipment and procedures. It shows how seriously they take patient and staff safety. It is a bit of a drive for me to get to this office, but it is definitely worth it.

Perfect Smile is great. I recommend them to everyone. They take photos of your teeth show you what is wrong and at the end they show you your progress. I love the transparency. Plus they have Netflix so you don’t have to hear all the drilling and scraping. The only thing is dislike is their 60 dollar cancellation fee. I had to go in with the flu to avoid that fee. When you have the flu the last thing you want is to have someone drilling your mouth. Not only that I put the entire office at risk with my virus. If someone is sick please waive the fee and let them reschedule.

I've been coming here for years to get my teeth done. I've had many hygienists and they've all done their jobs wonderfully! I just had a latest appointment yesterday with Julie. She's new but she knows what she's doing. She had this really bubbly personality and kept me entertained for hours while I had a deep cleaning. Maybe because my gums have healed quite a bit but normally, I get the injected anesthesia because my gums were hyper sensitive. However, this time around, Julie only applied topical anesthesia and I didn't feel any pain sensations. I attribute that partially to Julie's magic. Next time you are at Perfect Smile, ask for Julie.

Most professional, friendly, and passionate dental practice I’ve ever encountered. A little pricey, but worth the cost. The office is nice and clean. The examination rooms are cozy and make efficient use of space. You can watch Netflix during your procedure to keep nerves at bay. Dr. Le explained things very thoroughly and takes a personal interest in helping you find out what’s wrong. The rest of the staff are all very welcoming and friendly. They made it clear before and after my first visit what I should expect to pay for my treatment plan.

Doesn’t feel good to read such proselytizations while trying to receive treatment. Was uncomfortable the whole time thinking of it. Quite insensitive. Dr. Pham is very skilled at what she does. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. Also, the whole staff is very nice and extremely helpful. 5 stars are not enough to describe my experience here. So far we have completely reconstructed my whole upper set with a part that has included 6 extractions, bone graphs ect.. she has laid out a plan for my needs that works with my budget. Once again 5 stars are not enough.

I was very impressed with the office and the way everything was run. They had a very nice up-to-date technology and provided thorough care. I came in for a cleaning and also opted to get a filling for a chipped tooth from years ago. They made sure that my teeth were completely cleaned. Some of the scrapings did hurt my gums, however, more than usual. Dr. Annie also filled in my tooth after my appointment rather than have me schedule another appointment, which worked well with my schedule.

I have recommended multiple people to this office. The staff is great, the office is clean, you get to watch Netflix, and they are very accommodating of schedules. The only downside is that they outsource some more major procedures like root canals and wisdom teeth extraction (or at least used to). Dr. Lei runs a great practice!

I had my Invisalign treatment here for the past 1.5 years. Dr. Pham & the others did an incredible job during the entire process. They made sure to carefully check the progress of my teeth to ensure that the outcome would turn out exactly how I desired. The staff here are true professionals and are very accommodating to my schedule. That coupled with radiation , I as lucky that work brought us back to San Jose. Annie is a master at her craft and has managed to get my teeth back up to par. I've been coming here for years to get my teeth done. I've had many hygienists and they've all done their jobs wonderfully! I just had a latest appointment yesterday with Julie. She's new but she knows what she's doing. She had this really bubbly personality and kept me entertained for hours while I had a deep cleaning. Maybe because my gums have healed quite a bit but normally, I get the injected anesthesia because my gums were hyper sensitive. However, this time around, Julie only applied topical anesthesia and I didn't feel any pain sensations. I attribute that partially to Julie's magic. Next time you are at Perfect Smile, ask for Julie.

Wow...I don't even know where to start... First off, I don't usually leave reviews (period), let alone, for a DENTAL OFFICE... Precedent set...From the moment you call, to the moment you are in the chair, AMAZING experience. The staff at Perfect Smile is so friendly, and very skilled. They will certainly ease any "dental anxiety", and most importantly, leave you with excellent care. When you're in the chair, they have a screen and headphones... just fade away into some Netflix. Ok, sure, it may kinda be like getting your oil changed at the drive-in, but, it set me at ease! The dentists and hygienists were extremely knowledgeable and courteous.. (seriously!... they really care about what they do). I felt very comfortable, and all costs and insurance coverages were thoroughly explained. Stephanie was very thorough, and a pleasure to work with (from phone call to visit), and she will have all your paperwork and any questions answered upon checkout. Decided to come to Perfect Smile as it is down the street from where I live. Incredibly convenient. The DA gave me a tour around the office and I must say, the decor is very modern and nice here. My cleaning went well and was quick! Oh.... They have Netflix for you to watch while the doctors perform on you!

( Klove radio station) love it!Parking can sometimes be hectic here since its in a popular shopping center, try avoid coming around lunch time.This office is beyond beautiful! The staff is super friendly and kind, their hospitality is great, make you feel at home. Bottled water and coffee is available if you need something to calm your nerves ;)If you're a new patient, they give you a tour of the whole office and where everything is, which I thought was pretty awesome! Never been to a dental office who does that! Impressive!!Each of the the rooms have a TV and wireless headphones to so you can listen comfortably. The chairs are actually pretty nice, just don't fall asleep =)The doctor is very nice and listens to what you have to say or how much pain you're in. I'm definitely having them as my new general dentist!
